The Sims DLCs
The Sims is known for its DLCs, which make the game much more complete and expand the possibilities. But do you know what the difference is between an expansion pack, game pack, collection of objects and kits? Before we get to the full list of the best The Sims in history, we need to make this clear:
Expansion pack
The Sims expansion pack adds a significant amount of new content and features to the main game, and includes new game mechanics, worlds, careers, skills, aspirations and items.
Game pack
The The Sims game pack is smaller than the expansion (and cheaper), and adds specific themed content or additional features to the main game.
Object Collection
The Sims Object Collection focuses mainly on adding new items, clothes, furniture and decorations to the game. They are smaller and don’t change the gameplay much.
Kit
The The Sims Kit is even smaller. It’s a small collection of objects, with themed content that can be added to the game to enrich the gaming experience more directly. It’s the cheapest type of DLC there is.
