American soccer teams in the NFL are divided into two major conferences: the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). Each conference is made up of 16 teams, subdivided into four divisions: East, North, South and West. Each has four teams.
The teams then compete within their divisions and conferences throughout the regular season to qualify for the playoffs.
The champions of each division and the American soccer teams with the best wild card campaigns advance to the playoffs, culminating in the Super Bowl, where the AFC and NFC champions face off for the NFL title.

Buffalo Bills
State: New York
The Bills have never won a Super Bowl and are the only NFL team to lose four consecutive Super Bowl games. The team reached the grand final in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993, becoming four-time AFC champions, but failed to win any of the contests.

Miami Dolphins
State: Florida
The Dolphins have won two Super Bowls (VII and VIII) and are famous for their perfect season in 1972, becoming the first and only team in NFL history to complete an undefeated season.

- Dan Marino: one of the best NFL players of all time, the quarterback is a great record holder and responsible for countless Dolphins victories.
- Larry Csonka: Fullback, an essential part of the offense in the Super Bowls of the 70s.

New England Patriots
State: Massachusetts
The Patriots have won six Super Bowls (XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI, LIII) and have 11 conference titles. And it’s impossible not to remember Super Bowl LI in 2016 when, under the command of Tom Brady, one of the best quarterbacks of all time, the team turned the game around against the Atlanta Falcons, recovering from a 28-3 deficit to win in overtime.

New York Jets
State: New York
The Jets won a Super Bowl (III) in 1969, a game in which Joe Namath led the Jets to a surprising victory against the Baltimore Colts.
After years away from the playoffs, in 2010 the Jets reached the conference finals again, but lost to the Indianapolis Colts.

Baltimore Ravens
State: Maryland
The Ravens have won two Super Bowls, one in 2000 and the second in 2012. Both are on the list of the franchise’s best games.
In Super Bowl XXXV (2000), the team won an incredible victory over the New York Giants, highlighting one of the best defenses in NFL history.
Cincinnati Bengals
- State: Ohio
The Bengals have yet to win a Super Bowl, but they were AFC champions in 1981 and 1988, and in 2021 .
In their first two Super Bowl appearances, the Bengals lost to the San Francisco 49ers.
In 2021, led by Joe Burrow, one of the best quarterbacks in the game today, the team won the AFC championship, reaching Super Bowl LVI after 33 years, but lost to the Los Angeles Rams

Cleveland Browns

The Browns won eight NFL championships (before the Super Bowl era) in 1950, 1954, 1955 and 1964.
In this scenario, we can remember the 1964 NFL championship, a victory over the Baltimore Colts, which is still marked today as the Browns’ last title.
Pittsburgh Steelers
- State: Pennsylvania
The Steelers have won six Super Bowls (IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII) and have eight conference titles.
One of the most memorable moments in the history of American soccer teams is winning the Super Bowl. In 2008, the Steelers’ last victory, the franchise experienced a moment that would go down as the greatest defensive play in Super Bowl history.
Late in the second quarter, Steelers linebacker James Harrison made a crucial interception and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown, giving the Steelers a 17-7 lead at halftime.

Houston Texans

The Texans have yet to win a Super Bowl, but they have won 6 AFC South titles (2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019).
In the 2012 playoffs, the American soccer team won its first franchise playoff victory, beating the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card.
Another landmark game was the win against the Buffalo Bills, in 2019, in overtime in the Wild Card, where Deshaun Watson made a spectacular play to evade two defenders and complete a decisive pass.
Indianapolis Colts
State: Indiana
In 1953 the team was founded as the Baltimore Colts, but in 1984 it moved to Indianapolis and changed its name.
In terms of titles, theColts have won two Super Bowls, Super Bowl V in 1970, still as the Baltimore Colts, and Super Bowl XLI in 2006, in the “new” state. The team also has 7 conference titles.
Peyton Manning, the quarterback famous for playing for the Broncos, was responsible for giving the Colts a Super Bowl title and several division titles.
Jacksonville Jaguars
State: Florida
The Jaguars have yet to win a Super Bowl, but they have 3 division titles (1998, 1999, 2017), with several playoff appearances over the years.
One of the most memorable moments was during the 1996 season, just a year after their creation, when the Jaguars managed to reach the AFC Conference finals in just their second season in the league. However, the team lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC final.
Tennessee Titans
State: Tennessee
Like other American soccer teams, the Tennessee Titans have changed cities and names. Founded in1960 as the Houston Oilers, they moved to Tennessee in 1997.
Still in its first version, the teamwon two AFL championships (1960, 1961 as the Houston Oilers), and after the move won a conference title (1999).
Among its historic games, Super Bowl XXXIV in 1999 is one of the milestones, after all, the franchise lost in dramatic fashion to the St. Louis Rams, with the famous “One Yard Short” play, where Kevin Dyson was stopped one yard short of the end zone at the end of the game.

Denver Broncos
State: Colorado
The Broncos have won three Super Bowls (XXXII in 1997, XXXIII in 1998, L in 2015) and have eight conference titles.
On the list of unforgettable games is 1997’s Super Bowl XXXII, a victory over the Green Bay Packers that gave the Colorado team the franchise’s first Super Bowl title.
The following year, the franchise won again, this time over the Atlanta Falcons, their second consecutive Super Bowl title.

State: Missouri
The Chiefs have won four Super Bowls (1970, 2020, 2023 and 2024), three of them under the command of Patrick Mahomes, the team’s great star.
To celebrate this new phase, one of the most important memories for Chiefs fans is the victory in Super Bowl LIV (2019) over the San Francisco 49ers, the first Super Bowl title in 50 years.

Originally founded in 1960 as the Oakland Raiders, the team moved to Los Angeles in 1982 and then to Las Vegas in 2020.
The Las Vegas Raiders have won three Super Bowls (XI in 1976, XV in 1980 and XVIII in 1983), establishing themselves as one of the NFL’s historic franchises.

Founded in 1960 as the Los Angeles Chargers and then moving to San Diego before returning to Los Angeles in 2017, the Los Angeles Chargers are known for their strong presence on the west coast.
Although they have yet to win a Super Bowl, the Chargers have had great players such as LaDainian Tomlinson, Dan Fouts and Junior Seau, who have contributed to the team’s success over the years.
One of their most notable memories is the 2006 season, when Tomlinson set the record for most touchdowns in a single season.
